Disneyland "Mickey Mouse" Printer's Press Proof 1994 – Hand-Annotated Production Proof, Framed
An original printer's press proof from Disneyland's 1994 print production, marked in the slug line "Land Final! 6/28/94 11:17 AM Page 3." The artwork shows a classic Mickey Mouse riding a rocket beneath a bold "MICKEY MOUSE" arched title, with inset photos of the Mark Twain Riverboat, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, and Walt Disney presenting park concept art, along with printed text celebrating Disneyland's craftsmanship and Walt's vision.
What makes this piece special is that it is a working production proof, not a retail print: registration crosshairs and trim marks are visible around the image, and it carries the press checker's handwritten notes in marker — "Mouse! Reposition," "correct trim marks," "1/8" measurement callouts, and a marker doodle over the Dumbo photo. A one-of-a-kind glimpse behind the scenes of Disneyland print production.
Condition: Good, displayed framed under glass; paper appears clean and flat with no visible tears or stains (inspected through glass). Handwritten marks are original to the proof. Presented in a simple black frame.
