✦ Our Story ✦

BUILT BY COLLECTORS,
FOR DISNEY COLLECTORS

Main Street Collectibles started the way every good collection does — with one park souvenir too good to leave behind. Today it's a whole floor on Washington Road in Martinez, Georgia, staged like a world's-fair pavilion instead of a dusty warehouse: thousands of vintage and new Disney and Disneyland collectibles, each piece hand-picked and displayed like it matters. Because to a collector, it does.

We buy Disney collections from across the Southeast — Martinez, Evans, Augusta, Atlanta and beyond — research every piece, tag it with an honest price, and put it on the floor the same week. No reproduction mysteries, no flea-market haggling theater. Just the largest Disneyana selection in Georgia, ten minutes from anywhere in Columbia County and worth the drive from anywhere else.

  • Every piece inspected, researched & honestly tagged
  • Fresh Disney collections hit the floor every week
  • Staged like a show, not stacked like a storage unit

WHAT IS DISNEYANA?

Disneyana is the collector's word for vintage Disney memorabilia — the souvenirs, toys, artwork, paper and everyday objects made from the 1930s onward that carry the Disney name, characters, or the parks. If it came home from Disneyland or Walt Disney World, sat on a shelf for fifty years, and still makes somebody's eyes light up, it's Disneyana. Main Street Collectibles in Martinez, Georgia carries the largest selection of it in the state.

The eras collectors chase

  • 1930s–40s · The Golden Age — early Mickey merchandise, celluloid and bisque figures, Ingersoll watches, tin wind-ups. The rarest and most valuable Disneyana.
  • 1955–1970s · Classic Disneyland — opening-era park souvenirs, ticket books, guidebooks, attraction posters, cast pins. The heart of most serious collections.
  • 1971–1990s · Walt Disney World & EPCOT — Florida park memorabilia, Figment, the Contemporary and Polynesian, 15th/20th anniversary pieces.
  • 1990s–today · Modern & new — pin trading, park exclusives, limited editions, Loungefly, current releases still sealed. Vintage-in-waiting.

What makes a piece valuable

  • Park exclusivity — items sold only inside Disneyland or Walt Disney World outrank mass-market retail pieces.
  • Attractions that no longer exist — souvenirs from retired rides (Skyway, PeopleMover, 20,000 Leagues, Horizons) climb every year.
  • Condition and completeness — original box, tags, ticket stubs, unmarked paper. "Very good with sharp corners" means something.
  • Cast member & limited pieces — name tags, cast-only pins, prototypes, and low-edition-number releases.
  • Provenance — a dated receipt, a photo of grandpa holding it at the park in 1962. Stories add value.

How we authenticate & grade

  • Every piece is inspected, researched against reference guides and period catalogs, and dated as precisely as the evidence allows.
  • Reissues and reproductions are labeled as exactly that — a 1976 re-print of a 1957 map is sold as a 1976 re-print.
  • Condition is written in plain words on the tag: creasing, fading, chips, repairs, missing pieces. No mysteries.
  • Paper and pins are sleeved; fragile ceramics are cased. Ask about anything — we'd rather talk collectibles than sell one.

Where to see it in person

New Disney collections arrive weekly.
